Holidays in 2020 look so much different then years past but that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate at home. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. The best part of Halloween is dressing up and hosting parties. Oh, and of course the candy and treats! Since there won’t be Halloween parties to attend this year, try having an intimate Halloween pajama party with your close friends and family. I’m showing you today how to build a Halloween charcuterie board, the perfect balloon decorations and my top 5 favorite Halloween movies to watch this year! Halloween Charcuterie Board I’m such a sucker for a good charcuterie board but I wanted to add a twist and create a Halloween version. My twist? I used an Ouija Board!! Hopefully this isn’t a bad omen…lol! If you already own an Ouija Board make sure to clean and sanitize its before use otherwise you can […]

Nothing screams summer more than celebrating the 4TH OF JULY! When I look back, I realize I never use to be that excited about the upcoming holiday. Sure, I’d attend a BBQ here and there, watch fireworks and parades and always wear a cute festive t-shirt. But I now believe no other day defines summer quite like the 4th of July! So bring on the red, white and blue because I’m ready to celebrate! I’ve linked all the best finds for Americana apparel including this lightweight sweatshirt and the cutest home decor pieces from some of my favorite retailers. Come along and go shopping with me! I’m all about trying new things and eyelash extensions were definitely at the top of my list. I’m sure we’ve all tried the glue-on ones from the drugstore. You know, the ones that never really stick, are too big for your eyes or just look way too fake. Well, I finally got the chance to really just go for it at Deka Lash in Naperville and let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. The talented and patient Kaily, applied a full set of lashes on me. It’s been about a week, so I feel that I’m well acquainted with them. I’m so glad I got them done when I did, perfect for celebrating New Years with a bang! Here is everything you need to know before you head to the salon and change your look from pretty to va-va-va voom!  What To Expect The vibes at […]

If you’ve never participated in a White Elephant game/gift exchange before, you are missing out! I previously talked about shopping for Ugly Christmas Sweaters and how my best friend has been throwing an Ugly Christmas Sweater party for a decade now. At her party every year we play White Elephant. Now if you’ve never played before, here are the rules. 1. Each player brings one wrapped present. 2. Players draw numbers to determine what order they go in. 3. Players sit in a circle where they can see all of the gifts. 4. The first player selects a gift and opens it. 5. The following players can choose to either pick an unwrapped gift from the pile or steal a previous player’s gift. Anyone who gets their gift stolen can choose a new gift or steal someone else’s gift. 6. After all players have had a turn, the first player gets a […]

I’ve been going to the same Ugly Christmas Sweater Party for almost a decade now! You could say it’s a Christmas Tradition. I’ve worn lots of ugly sweaters in the past 10 years, lucky for you I couldn’t find any photos to share with you. The funny thing is, these days Ugly Christmas sweaters aren’t so “ugly” anymore. Some of them are actually pretty cute! For those needing help finding a funny and inexpensive ugly Christmas sweater, look no further! Or if you just want a good laugh at some of those sweaters, this one’s for you too. {Shop by clicking on the item from the above image or the links below.} // Festive AF // Flying Unicorn // Deer Hoodie // Fa La La Llama // // Sleigh My Name // Dress // Single & Ready To Mingle // // Bye Felicia // Santa Poncho // Filthy Muggle // […]
