Holidays in 2020 look so much different then years past but that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate at home. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. The best part of Halloween is dressing up and hosting parties. Oh, and of course the candy and treats! Since there won’t be Halloween parties to attend this year, try having an intimate Halloween pajama party with your close friends and family. I’m showing you today how to build a Halloween charcuterie board, the perfect balloon decorations and my top 5 favorite Halloween movies to watch this year! Halloween Charcuterie Board I’m such a sucker for a good charcuterie board but I wanted to add a twist and create a Halloween version. My twist? I used an Ouija Board!! Hopefully this isn’t a bad omen…lol! If you already own an Ouija Board make sure to clean and sanitize its before use otherwise you can […]

I wanted to write down everything I want to do this fall because they say when you write it down you’ll hold yourself more accountable. So I figured while I’m writing it all down, I’ll share it with you! I don’t normally talk about my birthday this much, but I thought why not. It’s a great opportunity to share my life with you. Yesterday was my 33rd birthday, so today I’m sharing 33 things I learned over the past year. (33 thing I’ve learned this year in no particular order.) 1. 33 is not old, neither is 50 2. Everyday is a day worth celebrating 3. Moisturize everyday 4. Under eye cream is a lifesaver 5. You can never get enough sleep 6. Dress size doesn’t matter as long as I feel comfortable 7. Remove the lint from the dryer lint trap before every cycle 8. Command strips are amazing 9. When you buy a house, closing costs are way more than you think 10. Decorating a home is so much fun 11. Who my true friends are 12. Real friends are not only the ones you talk to […]

When I think about the thing that gets me through my work day, I think of music! I’m a little late to the Spotify party. I’ve just been using Pandora for the longest time. I think Spotify is great because I enjoy making playlists. Playlists that will help you get through anything! Creating a good playlist specifically for working out definitely gets me through my workout faster. Even a good summer playlist helps you remember the great times you are having. It’s my birthday weekend! In honor of it, I put together a playlist of songs that just make me happy. There is no rhyme or reason to it, most of it is pop and relatively new from this year. Hope you enjoy it! Warning: There are a few songs on my playlist with explicit lyrics…so if that’s not your thing then this probably isn’t the playlist for you. xoxo, […]

Follow my blog with Bloglovin She’s alive! Whoa! I know it’s been awhile. Sorry I’ve been so MIA, but life can be tough sometimes. As I sit here at my little bistro set on my back patio, I question some things that have been weighing on me lately. The main thing being my blog. What am I doing this for? Does it matter to anybody? How do I balance a full time job, a blog, family and a social life? Should I be a part of Reward Style? How can I put myself out there more? Will I run out of ideas? Do I even have a voice? Okay sorry, I sound so melodramatic! I just question if I can keep up with this and will it even matter. I guess if it only matters to me than there’s a reason to continue. I started blogging because I was looking […]
