I don’t know who came up with the idea of Friendsgiving, but I think it’s brilliant. I love my family so much and enjoy spending time with them. I also love the idea of giving thanks to your friends. And in the grand scheme of things, friends are family, aren’t they? Do you host or go to a Friendsgiving gathering every year? If you are new to the idea of Friendsgiving, it’s basically just a celebration of Thanksgiving dinner with your friends. It usually occurs on the Wednesday before or the Friday after Thanksgiving Day, since Thanksgiving is usually reserved for family gatherings. An assortment of food is prepared and stories are shared of why everyone is friends and thankful for each other. Typically the host prepares the turkey and everyone else brings a side dish (potluck style).
