Do you ever get sick of doing things the same way? Changing up your simple routine can give you a little pick me up. Change up your lip color, style your hair differently, change up your daily exercise routine or tie your scarf in a different way! Here are three simple ways to tie a scarf in an unexpected new way.

Do the twist!

  1. Fold the scarf in half and loop it.
  2. Bring the tail through the loop.
  3. Twist the loop.
  4. Bring the tail through the second loop.
  5. Tighten the tail and voilà!

Loop De Loop

  1. Fold the scarf in half and loop it.
  2. Bring one tail end through the loop.
  3. Take the other end over the side of the loop closest to your face.
  4. Bring that same end then through the loop.
  5. Tighten the tail ends and there you have it!

  1. If you are working with a true blanket scarf – fold in half to make triangle. I love these scarfs from Luxe Statements because they carry scarfs that are already cut in triangle shapes. They give you less bulk!
  2. Wrap the scarf around your neck like you normally would.
  3. Bring the ends back forward.
  4. Rotate the scarf so that the triangle is off-centered, then tie the ends.
  5. This is the part I love – now tie those ends into a bow!
  6. Tighten the bow and now you have a completely new look!

This last way to tie a scarf is actually my favorite. Most people tie a blanket scarf the same why, by wrapping the triangle sides in the front and bringing the tails forward. This way is a lot more fun!
