Do you typically make your Halloween costume or buy it? Growing up in a house full of creativity, I always find myself coming up with something creative for Halloween. My mom hand-sewed all of mine and my sisters costumes growing up. From a Hersey’s Kiss to Belle to a Pink Lady, each costume always had a special touch knowing my mom made them. As an adult I find myself crafting up my yearly Halloween costume.    This year was a little last minute and it needed to be work appropriate. I love a good pun and keeping up with current events. It was also really important to me that I use items that I already own. So what did I come up with this year? Take a guess…

Have you guys heard of Brickyard Buffalo? Its an on-trend daily deal website featuring different vendors. The site offers incredible deals on clothing, accessories, baby goods and home goods. Everything on their site is super affordable and most items ship free. It’s a great site to use to stay on budget!    The long sleeve tawny jordan dress is super comfy, so versatile and an easy transition piece. It’s a knee length dress in tawny with black and white striped sleeves. Never heard of the color tawny? Tawny is a light brown to brownish orange color. Art Class lesson of the day! As I was saying, this dress is a great transition dress because once it gets colder just add tights and boots and you are all set! I’ve styled this dress three different ways from casual to dressy.

I love all things fall and Halloween. Haunted houses, scary movies, ghost stories and decorating, but I am a true girly girl! Sometimes spooky isn’t pretty. This is a super easy DIY to make you feel bright and cheerful even during this dreary scary time of year. I’ve put together a step by step tutorial to make decorating stress free!

Happy Fall! Last Sunday, we went apple picking at Apple Holler! It is so much fun to do things that sometimes you haven’t done since you were a child. Nostalgia sets in and that longing for no responsibilities and youthful feelings takes over. Now we may have been the only adults there without kids but who cares! We had a great time and created new memories. Fall is my favorite time of year. Besides all the fun activities that are associated with Fall, there’s the fall fashion! Boots, chunky sweaters, blanket scarves…oh my! For this particular fall outing, I went with two fall trends, over-the-knee boots and plaid. Plaid is one of my favorite go-to’s for fall and winter. It is also very versatile and an easy pattern to use when pattern mixing. Plaid can be dressed up or worn casually. I went for an in-between look by pairing this […]

The Lancer Method: 3 Steps for Younger Skin   Live•Love•Lancer   I received this item for free from Influenster for testing and review purposes, all comments and opinions are of my own. I took the 14 day challenge hoping to reveal smoother, brighter, younger-looking skin. Maybe 14 days isn’t enough to truly judge a product but I don’t think this is something that I would purchase. Besides the fact that the full 3 piece set costs $255! Let me tell you more about the products and why I wouldn’t purchase them. Don’t fret though, there is a Dr Lancer product that I would purchase, keep reading to find out more.
